Today we’re breaking down some techniques and great part usage in an incredibly detailed MOC of the famous Trevi Fountain in Rome, Italy by @lucapetraglia.it with some help with the statues from @eerookkonen . Luca used custom printed bricks by @giancasstick to represent the writing on the Fountain’s front facade.
With some architectural background, you can further appreciate the level of detail and thinking required to replicate the Trevi Fountain so accurately. What is an impressive work of art can be broken down into some key elements that when repeated throughout and it does not at all take away from the complexity and attention to detail. Luca and Eero have some excellent part usage to create the necessary curvature and movement characteristic of Baroque architecture and design. Come see how we break it down!
Correction: the custom stickers are actually custom printed bricks—even better!
