Today I thought I would share with you an interesting technique I found whilst browsing through images; a good way to include detail into your MOC in a subtle but interesting way.
It involves having lever or bars just poking through gaps in elements. This shortens their length, making them suitable for a variety of uses as seen in the picture, such as switches.
If the lever piece was attached straight onto the wall or surface, it would stick out a lot, but this way the detail is integrated into the wall or surface and can look very effective and different depending on how far it goes through the gap.
