WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY SWAMP??…is something your minifigures could say if you built them a swamp as great as the four examples we’re discussing today! In these scenes, builders have used SNOT techniques, flexible rubbery pieces, and muted colours to create very atmospheric swamps with unique appearances.
@jaapbijl_ on Instagram's swamp is created using sand green bricks on their side, with olive green profile bricks mixed in to emulate moss. Meanwhile, THEE BRICKOLOGIST on Flickr uses window panes and reddish brown reins, while @ranghaal on Instagram uses a combination of transparent and regular parts. Finally, Roger Cageot on Flickr simply uses one colour of tiles but adds grass stems and other vegetation to create an eye-catching moat.
Which is your favourite? Have you seen any other cool swampy techniques? Let us know in the comments below!
