Featured Builders:

Bee and beehive build from @si_mocs. Oar heads, minifig hands, and pistols – oh my! NPU is pushed to the max with this build. The head of bees is actually Firefly’s helmet from 2019. And look at the hot dog stinger! Finger hinges and slopes (28192) form hexagonal 3D honeycombs. Image shows yellow and orange honeycombs with minifigure-scale sized bees.

Bee, beehive, and flower build from @sogenius106. These small-but-mighty bees use only 6 parts! The wings have been recolored in blender as the 1x2 round tile (1126) doesn’t come in trans-clear… yet! Do you know what part the round yellow element is? Tell us if you can identify it! Lastly, can you spot the queen with her tiny crown? Image shows a hive that opens up for a play-scale experience. Bees rotate and spin within the hive!

Another closeup of the beehive from @sogenius106. The hive hinges closed. SNOT brackets and plates help form that iconic hive shape. Image shows the 2x2 curved slopes that give this honeycomb its iconic shape.

Bee and hive from nasa105 on YouTube. A bar goes through the center of the bee, anchoring a dish, SNOT brick, and round plates. Follow the swarm to see more of this build! Image shows a close up of the bee, including the parts of how it is made.

Bee and hive from nasa105 on YouTube. Using the Lowell-sphere technique, each levels of the hive slides down an axle. They each spin on tiny tires. Each level of the hive comes apart in a disc form. Image includes a video showing the bees spinning.

Bee and hive build from @grantmasters. These man made hives use brackets for a simple, yet effective design. This bee is made by turning an antenna inside-out with minifig hands for wings! Image shows bees swarming a poor minifigure who is running away from the hive.

Bees and hive from guiguizmo on Rebrickable. The hive makes use of triple axle connectors (10288) and triple axle hubs (57585). Note the double rows of technic connectors. Image shows a hexagonal hive slice, with bees flying around it.
