Thank you to the LEGO company for sending us this to review. We don’t have to give sets a good review to continue receiving them - but this set definitely impresses!

Overall we scored this set a 23 out of 25. LEGO has unveiled the first sets under an official Botanical theme, and we are excited to show you set 10342 today! The Pretty Pink Flower Bouquet is simply stunning - one of our favorite botanical releases this year. Part Selection: There are four new molds, including a Campanula blossom that is actually a future mold for Z-Blob from DREAMZzz, but it first appears here in white! This is debatably the best part selection of any Botanical set. In a theme that rarely introduces new molds, the Pink Bouquet contains 4. The set also has a whopping 23 recolors, useful and plentiful! We scored parts a 5 out of 5.

Techniques. The boat orchid and blue daisy utilize two of the new molds, the large petal for the orchid and the tripod and little daisy for the daisy, of course. The boat orchid uses clips while the daisy uses stacked bar parts.

The canterbury lilies use the new Z-blob piece, which works perfectly in conjunction with larger brick built flowers that have a twig in them to perfect the look. The abundance of axe heads create the buttercup, one of the best-looking flowers LEGO has ever produced!

More genius NPU found in these slides, which the cherries as little elder flower buds, and numerous shields clipped around a large steering wheel for the many petals of a waterlily dahlia. The elder also interestingly uses dark bluish gray for its stem, which despite being a non-color looks really excellent and realistic alongside the sand green!

The subtle curves of the rose and eucalyptus are thanks to shoulder armor and a recolored sand green curved bar. Other than the Cornflower, which recolors the build in the Wildflowers set, this set has 6 excellent new techniques for plants and flowers! Many clip and bar connections are used to fill out this bunch, and aided by Technic it is by far the sturdiest of the three bouquets. We scored techniques a 4 out of 5.

Accuracy. This slide shows a comparison between the LEGO flowers and the 9 real life flowers. All are truly excellent, capturing the subtleties of each shape in interesting and realistic LEGO forms. These are immaculate LEGO-fied creations. We scored accuracy a 5 out of 5.

Display Value. Two photos side by side show the Pretty Pink Bouquet by itself, and the Pretty Pink Bouquet paired with the original Flower Bouquet from 2021. Whether on its own or bundled with the original 10280 Flower Bouquet, the Pretty Pink edition lives up to its name. It is absolutely gorgeous! The set bundles together really nicely on its own, and we love the modularity of this mini series. We scored Display value a 5 out of 5.

Final Thoughts. The 7 to 8 cents per part is a great ratio, but it is hard for us to give a Botanical a perfect Value score when we so often see them discounted soon after release. But if you wish to purchase on Day 1, we love this bouquet and think its eternal beauty is well worth the price. We scored value for money a 4 out of 5. Overall, are you as enamored by the Pretty Pink Bouquet as we are? Sound off in the comments!
