A good background can take a build to new heights. But curious how to make one? A plate-built background shows the sides of the plates (or brick!). @BrickBuiltJosh used bricks and plates to not only provide a gorgeous background, but also to hide lighting for a gorgeous night scene.
But be aware: brick-built backgrounds are HEAVY! Columns help provide support.
You can use built backgrounds to either make a backdrop or to help stand in for scenery, like how @gothgirlsbricks made mountains for the back of her scene.
