š£ļøYou asked and we answered! Today we pull back the curtain to show you our set review processā¦ and the secret method to our madness!Ā

We are part of the LEGO Ambassador Network (LAN), which makes us an RLFM: Registered LEGO Fan Media. We receive set offers and can request sets. š We are free to score our sets honestly: LEGO does not control our score and we are not obligated to give a positive review to keep receiving LEGO sets. š

We now score on a 2ļøā£5ļøā£-point scale ā but anyone remember when we used to grade on 100?? We have since refined our scoring system. Some key things to remember:
āļø Parts: As MOC-makers, we want to celebrate great parts! Just because a set has a low score, doesnāt mean the parts arenāt useful.
āļø Minifigs: We love it when there are new elements to customize figs and dolls! Just because a score is low doesnāt mean the parts arenāt cool.
āļø Techniques: We take techniques very seriously. We also recognize not every builder is at the same level. So we try to highlight the target audience.
āļø Value for Money: We look at more than just price per part. We try to make comparisons to comparable sets but we recognize this is a subjective category. We are a team of humans giving our opinions and we revisit this category often.Ā
What do you think of our set review process? Is there an area youād love to see us score?
