#272 TECHNIQUES - Cheese slope decals

Today's technique uses 1x1 "cheese" slopes, along with 1x1 technic bricks to create a brick built decal. The 1x1 technic brick has a hole inside it, which allows you to connect studs to both sides. The gap created between the two plates connected to the technic brick is the perfect size for 1x1 slopes to be built on both sides and line up perfectly.

This technique can be adapted to make bigger decals, and the build can be turned horizontally or multiple can stacked.

The one disadvantage with this technique is because the spacing is perfect for the 1x1 slopes, a small gap is created when the build is integrated. Therefore, this technique is best for flags or other details where it does not need to be enclosed, or you don't mind having a small gap.
