The LEGO Ninjago Movie has produced some good looking but affordable sets, and today we will analyse the techniques used in Destiny's Bounty!
1. Technic - used to create interesting angles of the boat and support the structure and sails 2. Removable sections - gives easy access to full interior with tiled pieces 3. Part use - excellent part use gives lots of detail to the model 4. Interior - Lots of space on the inside 5. SNOT bricks - Used to create sides of the boat, smooth surfaces and display pieces such as plants and other details 6. Hinged pieces - allow you to move parts and add playability 7. Gold parts - pearl gold pieces go well with the overall colour scheme
